My co-worker says there is a rumor going around that Alexandra is...Iron Fist's mother Heather Rand. (co-worker's brother designs props for tv shows and movies...Mac's dildo bike from last season's It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia...he built that and the walkman Ego destroyed in GotG 2)

Which uh...as much as I don't like the theory...sounds plausible. We never saw Heather's body. Gao has a boss. Gao implied she had a connection to the Rand-Meachum company that predates Danny's...she admitted she knew Danny's parents. Gao tried to convince Danny the Hand weren't his enemy since he had left K'Un L'Un. The pieces kinda fit.

1) if they want to make Iron Fist some kind of Luke Skywalker character in the Netflix series, it would work.

2) Reid & Rand are nearly the same name.

3) The first letter of her first name ("H") and most of the letters of her last name ("and") ... make the word "Hand".

4) Among the Netflix characters, Iron Fist is the one who needs the most to surprise the watchers, since the critical response of the 1st season of the Iron Fist series was generally unfavorable.

5) It isn't impossible to imagine that Victoria Haynes (Heather Rand in the Iron Fist series) could have been chosen to portray a younger Sigourney Weaver (similar hair color).

6) Both Heather Rand & Alexandra Reid seem to be wealthy socialites.

I am not certain that it is such a great idea ... but, who knows ? Maybe, it will be interesting ...
