I noticed that DC's credits have changed on the new seasons of The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.

Where they used to read 'Based on characters appearing in DC Comics', they now simply read...

'Based on characters from DC'.

What gives? Are they ashamed of their comic book heritage now?

Maybe because of the DC movies?

Or maybe some guy in marketing thought it sounded cooler.
