    More revelations about the past.

Tobias visits BL's tailor for info on BL

I still don't understand what is going on there. It seemed like the Tailor was protecting Tobias, but I don't understand why he would do that?

BL tests a new flight mode of his suit....a bit similar in flight it IM from the movies...but that's okay for now.

BL is having headaches, is getting a bit aggressive and then seems to power down and collapses while arguing with the tailor. While hooked to diagnostic units, the tailor and BL's estranged wife cant detect what is wrong, and BL seems to draw power from the equipment and reboots himself......possible too much power expenditure as BL with the new flight gear?

We learn Tobias and his sister were given a serum long ago that stops their aging.....but other affects exist too.

What are their powers?! The show is very coy on that subject so far.

BL's daughter is exploring conspiracy sites about meta humans and govt. experiments and learns of a link to her grandfather.

Something about kids getting a bad vaccine. I wonder how many others have powers because of this.

We also learn her grandfather was killed by Tobias' right hand man. BL now knows that Tobias may well be back.

We get a scene with BL and the inspector that is rather reminiscent of Batman talking to Gordon, getting info, leaving a way to contact him, and disappearing when the guy looks away. Also he jokes that he can call it the "black signal"......bad pun. \:\)

BL's other kid gets into a fight and rather easily breaks the arm of one of them. She's taught self defense but.....super power?

She doesn't need super powers, she's a bad-ass!

    Tobias commits patricide.

BL's daughter assembles a costume and wig that is a nice tribute to the Outsiders.

    Inspector contacts BL with information.

BL suits up and his tailor tries to stop him. he warns him there is a problem with the capacitor array and that it apparently caused him to black out earlier. He goes out anyway.

Still he doesn't really need the tech suit except to channel and harness his power in a more refined manner. He could wear a spandex costume and still be Black Lightning if he had too.

Yeah this is like really worrisome. He shouldn't be out there unless he gets a magic pill that cures him in the next episode or something.

BL's daughter raids a storage warehouse for info and items from her grandfather.

BL's attempt at getting Tobias lieutenant backfires literally as the suit malfunctions and takes him down.

Why didn't the Lt. kill Black Lightning? I mean I don't want him to die, but he should have.

I think if anyone kills BL and tells Tobias that Tobias will kill that person. The situation and Tobias ego have dictated that only he can kill BL

It sounds like BL's dad was part of the project that made the serum or vaccine and that is how BL gained his powers. That stuff his kid found in the safe has to be what is left of it.

Also some serious family trouble is coming when BL learns at least one of his kids has powers.

1. He will have some explaining to do to his kids

2. The mother will likely forbid the kids to use their powers but we all know how well that will work....

3. I suspect that BL and his wife never realized the possibility of their kids having powers.....but the tailor did.

4. Though the tailor is BL's ally., I suspect he is govt agent/stooge. He knows of Tobias and his serum, he concealed footage of Tobias at the shooting he tried to convince BL that Tobias was long gone
