Oh man-I would love to see the entire American Gothic story line but it is probably too expensive for a good live action version. It seems like an animated series would be best.

A Swamp Thing series would need to start with the Wein/Wrightson material to understand the characters in American Gothic. Actually I want all the Alan Moore run. The old USA? series simply did not have the money to do justice to the concept while the two movies are mixed at best. The first one is something of a cult classic and enjoyable. The second promised the tone of Moore's run but was a tribute to the monster movies of the past. O.K. for a couple of viewings but not much more. I remember the animated series as being so bad that it rivaled The Fred and Barney meet The Thing series.
