I'm just wondering about The Trapster (Or is he Paste Pot Pete again?). He seems to be a classic FF villain (And a widely-used villain in general.), but do we really know what makes him tick? Have we ever gotten a true origin story for him? I have read a few Trapster stories, and I do think that he has some potential. I remember that they tried to revamp him a little bit during the Carlos Pacheo/Jeph Loeb run, but I don't think that really took. He was actually pretty cool in the 90's during the Spider-Man storyline identity Crisis. He murders someone on the orders of Norman Osborn (Attempting to frame Spider-Man.), and he turns himself in in the end. I also remember him taking on Spidey when he got Cosmic Powers. If I recall, he actually did fairly well against him. Aside from those stories though, I can't really think of any standouts. Has he ever been a threat? When was the first time that we saw his face and learned his real name? Thanks.

I like the Trapster, but it did seem ludicrous that he could take out Spider-Man.
