My condolences to his friends & family. He must have been well-liked and respected in the industry. I don't think I've ever read a bad opinion about him. I think he also did some of those Marvel paperback books they used to years ago.

I do recall reading that he lost some of the original pages of Wolverine's debut in a fire at his home. Those were probably worth a small fortune. He also had the cover for Giant-Sized X-Men #1
