Debbie Green. Remember? He asked her to marry him and then left her at the alter. She appeared during the Millar/Hitch run - one of my least favorite runs, IMO.

No I don't remember because I make a point not to read Millar's stuff in general. I dislike him more than Bendis.

And that was one of the dumbest storylines. At the end, Ben had this Lois Lane moment, where he realizes that anyone he marries would be at risk due to his status as a super-hero. I've always maintained that Ben really missed a good opportunity with Thundra, though I doubt that union would have lasted. Or maybe it would have? They never explored it.

I always wanted him to have a baby with Sharon Ventura. And then dump her (because she's crazy) and raise the baby Thing with Alicia.

Ben always being the surrogate uncle just seems sad. I would have preferred it if Johnny or Ben had had a kid instead of Reed and Sue having that second one...and the way they had it was perverse...Franklin uses his powers to impregnate his mother with her stillborn baby from the 80's. Yuck
