While there likely may have been some kind of same sex activity, Thundra seemed to prefer men for some reason, having shown attraction to Ben Grimm, The Hulk and Hyperion.

I've always wondered if Thundra was attracted to these characters as lovers or as breeding partners. I mean, let's face it, being attracted to Ben as a lover is pretty weird.

I would tend to view Thundra as a unique sort of bisexual - one who looks for love from women but fertilization from the toughest male around.

I'm telling you, man - sales juggernaut.

Oh I agree with you 100% on the sales juggernaut point. I'd totally go for a Thundra title if it had good writing, was drawn by someone like Cho. She is underrated and under-appreciated character at Marvel.

And sure, I think it would make sense that Thundra, who hails from a warring planet, would be solely interested in mating for survival purposes, hence Thundra seeking out highly physical males.

Which raises the point - she pursued Ben when Marvel treated him with dignity and respect. Today's Ben....I don't think she would look at twice.
