    Quote:
The Fantastic Four recycles the same stuff over and over again.

And that's partly good and partly bad.

    Quote:
I would say most Fantastic Four stories revolve around

    Quote:
    1. Dr. Doom and Latveria
    2. Namor and Atlantis

Both of these are always welcome if the writer can bring something original to the table without going off the rails into WTF territory. I hate WTF. I drop comics instantly when WTF happens. But that doesn't mean I want to be bored silly with repetition. The current Marvel 2-in-1 story line has used Doctor Doom brilliantly so far. I am in awe of the excellence.

    Quote:

    3. The Inhumans and Attilan
    4. Black Panther and Wakanda

Please no more of these. The novelty has worn off.

    Quote:
    4.5 Negative Zone

The only difficulty here is, any Negative Zone story has to compete with what may well be the greatest cosmic story ever told: Annihilation. Go big or go home.

    Quote:

    5. Alternate timelines
    6. Franklin's powers
    7. Ben's mutations
    8. The Frightful Four

Please no more of these. Especially - never mind, I can't pick one that I hate more than the others.

    Quote:

    9. Skrulls

For some reason I love these guys. But I especially love Kl'rt. As depicted in that cosmic story I already mentioned. I actually am hoping Ben and Johnny run into Kl'rt somehow. I understand he's Emperor now. But I picture him as sort of a King Conan or King Kull. Not really made for pomp and circumstance. Impatient with diplomacy and protocol. Always itching for the battlefield.

    Quote:

    10. Galactus

He's good now - which means if he shows up, he needs help with something very significant, probably very far away. This actually makes him way more versatile than he was before. More appearances are welcome.

    Quote:
And that's about it really. Every writer's run will hit most of these.

What I would also want is every alien race ever seen in any comic to show up in the Fantastic Four's book. The Shi'Ar. The Rigellians. The Kree. The Badoon. The Snarks. The Kymellians. The Martians - so there's one alternate time line I'd endorse: Killraven's. Every race ever seen, regardless what comic they've appeared in.

And SWORD. And Abigail Brand with her green hair.
