You could say that maybe about Klaw but there was never anything to make you care about him in the comics.

But I disagree about Killmonger. There's a legitmate charge of him being neglected by his uncle T'Chaka who killed his father. The Wakandan xenophobia left him stranded in America with his American mother (who we know very little about from the film) when he could have been taken to Wakanda. Luckily he was bright enough to get an excellent education but then his cynicism led him down a darker path via being in a Black Ops unit.
