In general, the movie ultimately treated the villains poorly, killing them both. It left feeling like the writers really don't care much for either of them.

You could say that maybe about Klaw but there was never anything to make you care about him in the comics.

But I disagree about Killmonger. There's a legitmate charge of him being neglected by his uncle T'Chaka who killed his father. The Wakandan xenophobia left him stranded in America with his American mother (who we know very little about from the film) when he could have been taken to Wakanda. Luckily he was bright enough to get an excellent education but then his cynicism led him down a darker path via being in a Black Ops unit.

I don't think any of that has anything to do with what I was talking about. But frankly, I've always found Klaw a hugely more entertaining villain than Killmonger.

What I'm talking about is that the writers ultimately treat the villains in a very disposable way, like they don't care about them.

Klaw's uncerimonious disposal I agree, he just got tossed aside. Killmonger's whole schtick was he had to die and wanted to die for what he'd done and was. Otherwise the whole better dead than alive in chains line couldn't get out there.

I appreciate that he had all the Vibranium flowers burned. Really how unique (case in point, Killmonger) could T'Challa be if anyone could consume that stuff. It's like Tony and the Armors, I really disliked IM3 because of all the automated Armors, made him seem insignificant. Then Pepper had to save him in the end.. but I digress.
