So this week on Spartacus...

eek...that was a rough one to sit through honestly. Between possessed Harrison-2's goofy voice and the CGI this was one you kind of hope to never show your friends if you want to get them to watch.

I didn't hate all of it. I really like the Julian/Caitlin stuff even though in previous episodes it seemed to come out of nowhere...but I'm kinda feeling them as a couple now...I just root for Julian...he's a jerk but he's trying to be better. I think he's been a really good addition honestly. Oh and I liked the whole freeze Barry stuff.

The Wally/Jesse stuff...not that I'm complaining about the romance...but wouldn't it make more sense for the two of them to move to Earth-2? They're kind of in Barry's way on Earth-1.

I agree with your analysis regarding the episode as "meh."

Wally and Jesse- I'm not buying it. During their time together everything seems so forced as if they don't really like each other but they are together for someone else's sake. BTW- how did Jesse contact Wally from Earth 2? Telephone call? Text? Message in a bottle through a breach? I think Wally is going to join Jesse on Earth 2. We can't have her staying on Earth 1. Three would be too many speedsters, especially in one city.

I really like the Caitlyn/Julian dynamic. Julian is such a jerk and such an amateur with women. He is now following Caitlyn around (to Gorilla City!) like a lovelorn puppy. It's interesting to contrast that with his usually prickly, biting personality.

I really miss the sinister sneaky presence of the Thawne Wells. I always enjoyed watching him train Barry knowing his secret that the training was solely to benefit him/Thawne in the long run.

The CGI could have been better. But it's no surprise Barry was manipulated by Grodd. Barry is easily manipulated for such a smart guy . . .

This week was a reversal for me. I usually watch Supergirl with a grain of salt and really enjoy the Flash. This weeks Supergirl episode was really good and the Flash was OK.
