Funny, I heard pretty much the same thing (close enough anyway) about BvS. Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman was STILL made and the DCEU is STILL going, refusing to die.

Well Wonder Woman was a success though (i.e. it made money). That's why the DCEU is still going. I imagine if that one had also flopped they might have given up. But Wonder Woman's success encouraged them to keep going. So far they've had one hit and Marvel has had several. They're hoping for a second hit.

Oddly enough the movie I've really been waiting for is Shazam. I feel like that's where the next hit is. We just have to deal with these other crappier movies until we get there.

Here's hoping the Justice League is a box office bomb along with the Flash movie that insists on making a movie about THE worst Flash storyline to ever hit the shelves.

Yeah it kinda retconned all those silver age Flash stories involving Barry's parents. And gave Barry some Spider-Man like drama for his origin. One of the great things about Barry's old origin was that he didn't have any tragedy driven origin and he was just a well adjusted guy. Silver age Barry didn't mope like TV Barry and he didn't seem like he had Asperger's like movie Barry.

But hey, if the Flash movie is made and Flashpoint is used to reboot the entire DC universe, maybe that's a good thing IF they recast everyone and end up making better movies as a result. Otherwise, it's not worth the effort.
