Cayden James is brought down and captured.

    Quentin has Black Siren captive

James learns that the evidence about Oliver killing his son was faked.

James gives Oliver the bank account in Corto Maltez where the money is.

Team Arrow is still broken and Oliver faces more legal trouble as Mayor.

We then learn that Ricardo Diaz is the real villain of the season.

The new police chief and some others are on his payroll. He manipulated James even as James was carrying out his plans. The city is weakened and ripe for takeover, and Diaz is the one that killed Cayden's son. He then kills Cayden.

Wow, this episode was not good.

I liked getting to see Cayden's past, but I don't really understand how he went from a good guy to a super-villain. I mean yes he was angry when his son was killed but not all angry people turn into super-villains.

It seems like this whole episode was just SHOCK VALUE. You thought Cayden was a bad guy, well he used to be good. You thought Richardo was just a henchman well he is secretly a mastermind.

It just doesn't make sense. Suddenly Richaro is some super genius who saw three moves ahead when really events could just as easily been completely different. How would Richardo know that Cayden would turn into a super villain. He could have just as easily just committed suicide after his son's death. Or rather than revenge on the whole city, he could have planned to just lure the Arrow somewhere and just kill him. If it was me, I would have captured the Arrow and interrogated him, since Arrow really had no reason to kill Cayden's son.

Then there is the Black Siren stuff. Lance thinks she's a good person because she hesitated to kill Dinah's boyfriend. No, a good person WOULDN'T have killed Dinah's boyfriend or any of the other folks she's killed. He is REALLY desperate to see good in her that just isn't there.
It's really kind of sad.

Oh and then Oliver was going to put civilians in the bunker for safe keeping???! Yeah good luck explaining that one to the FBI!

And I fell asleep at one point, but how the holy hell did Oliver's kid end up at the big showdown?! That was the last place in the world he should have been.
