I'm aware that the wise thing to do might be not to comment on this news. After all the disgust of i, and the reported enormous scale, talks for itself. But I seem to recall Gerard Jones has at least one child of his own, who would be in his early 20s by now, and presumably a wife... what went so badly wrong in his life that he descended to this obscene fixation. And how could an obviously intelligent man upload this to You-tube and not believe he would be immediately noticed and traced... but then this sort are hallmarked by their sheer arrogance and absolute conviction they cannot, will not, be found and caught.

Thankfully the diligence of the police has removed him from the streets and further pleasure in exploiting the most vulnerable of all.

Taking this report as granted of course

Yes, perhaps it would be wise not to reply on this topic. But Jones was a notable force in comics in the early 90s, and wrote a considerable amount for Green Lantern in particular. It has not aged well obviously, but how we go bout discussing that era in light of this arrest and probable conviction I do not know. It may be best I think if his work was quietly forgotten, and by a shared consensus allowed to be forgotten.
