Nice write up!
I remember starting to be fascinated with the New Gods, back in the
Jimmy Olsen run. I wish Yuga Khan was only Darkseids' father , but
no matter, retcons happen.
Orion certainly was most interesting with Walt Simonson's series. However, he was also was somewhat well rounded while a member of the JLA.
While it was nice to see Orion trying to problem solve and save innocents, it was certainly out of character to see him throw in the towel too.
I hope that this arc does justice to both GLC and the New Gods.
