Dell published 3 issues of this title. Before this, there was a TV show of this character starring Richard Denning (Mr. North on Mr. and Mrs. North; the governor on Hawaii 5-0).

Were there many pulp detectives that crossed over into comics? I know Moonstone Comics published a Bulldog Drummond book. Chance from Spider-Man comics had the name Nicholas Powell which was a play on William Powell's Nick Charles from The Thin Man movies. He wasn't a detective, though.
