Does anyone remember Son of Vulcan? He seemed to be Charlton's answer to Marvel's Thor. Although lasting only 5 issues, this character had potential and I believe that his last issue was written by Roy Thomas. The Charlton Silver Age heroes occupy a fond spot in my childhood memories - my favorites being Captain Atom and Thunderbolt.

Love Son of Vulcan. In fact my first "nom de electron" on the internet was "Son of Vulcan", I might even have still been using it when I first turned up on this message board. Later I became "Rip Jagger" (which I still use everywhere but here) and now "Ted Kord". But Son of Vulcan, the relatively obscure Charlton hero has always been a fave since I first saw the character in Charlton ads. It took me years to chase down all the issues (in the days before the internet) and getting them was a major coup for this collector. Thanks for mentioning him and bringing back all those great memories.
