Loved the concept of the character as well as the Roman centurion look. I don't think the stories/art really managed to live up to that potential though, not even reaching the charm of the Dan Garrett Blue Beetle stories.

I am surprised that with their mythological/magic heroes of the Marvel Family, Wonder Woman, that DC has not made him a bigger player to regularly appear in their books. I'd have a team made up of Avengers analogues from various companies DC bought out running around for kicks if nothing else: Minute Man (Captain America), Doll Man (Hank Pym), Doll Girl (Wasp), Son of Vulcan (Thor), Miss America (Scarlet Witch), Max Mercury nee Quicksilver (Quicksilver), Marksman (Hawkeye), Bozo the Iron Man (Iron Man). Of course, DC being DC, they'd probably be promptly used as cannon fodder... especially now that Bendis is coming on board.

Sounds like an interesting team - I surely would buy it.
