    Red Wolf #2! I knew this one at a glance. Red Wolf was one of my favorite little lost series from Marvel. I've been a fan since he first showed up in the Avengers and jumped onto his solo stories immediately. This Gil Kane effort is a great example of what he could do with a small image.

Yes, that two part Avengers story sold me on the character too.

But why on earth did they (initially) set his series in the 1800's? I feel sure it would have done better if they'd kept the modern-day slant. Great shame, that.
