To be honest, that has always been the way that the Savage/Child-like Hulk had been portrayed in most team-ups and group settings. He's boisterous and rarely gives input into strategy.

I'm just glad Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle had a major part in the screenplay. It's too easy to miss the intricate nature of the character and make him seem like a buffoon instead of Child-like. They have proven to understand the difference between the two and they write Hulk in his proper characterization.

He's... A Man-like MONSTER ...an Astonishing force! He's... Indestructible! That's why you don't comprehend him; and because he IS......Immortal; the Battle Board will not tolerate his Savage Rampaging, nor his INCREDIBLE abilities!!! Watch out for that Gamma-Surge - the WORLDBREAKER!!!
Stan Lee - "The way I established the Hulk, the more he fought, the stronger he got...I assume at some point he'll get worn out, but NEVER the Hulk." Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine Oct 2006 issue - Proceeding Message from the CHURCH OF HULK!!! Don't get Assassinated!
