Trying to stay optimistic, but this feels like more Marvel propaganda. Oh, your hero approves of their replacements. You should like them too. Accept assimilation.
I swear, if Hulk says it's okay that Cho is a Hulk, or does anything other than try to smash him, I will not buy it. No $$$ for you Marvel.
Never thought I'd see the day where the movies get it right over the comics.
I had trouble with the password so I had to recreate the name for now. I have a few thoughts on this preview. First off what the hell is this "HULK Smash" and grrraaaa crap? It is suppose to be Hulk Will Smash. This sounds like what Waid wrote. I know it is just the beginning of the encounter and I am hoping The Savage Hulk will speak in his normal dialogue we knew and loved from the old days. If this is indeed the early days and Chulk went back in time to the days of the Savage Hulk then at least make him sound like The Savage Hulk from the 70s and not that horrible insult to the character that we saw from Waid. I will wait and see the story before saying much else. Now I have one other very important comment. This appears to be The Savage Hulk and "HULK is The Strongest One There Is".... If Chulk beats him in a physical fight and ends up being the strongest then I will completely lose all respect for Pak as a writer. I never had a drop of respect for Axel Alonzo so I cannot say anything else about him at this time. If Chulk beats Hulk with a gamma depower ray or something like that I can sort of deal with it but if Chulk wins a hand to hand fight then I will be extremely disappointed. The Real Savage Hulk would be calling Chulk a phoney Hulk just as he did to Fixit. This will only be a good issue if Hulk totally kicks Chulks sorry butt all over the place. I do not have much confidence in Marvel or Pak to write The Savage Hulk as he was in the 70s but hopefully I am wrong.
