What a pant load! Yup, this was the time-travel BAIT AND WITCH I was expecting ever since I aw the poster for Generations.
This isn't complicated. Comic books aren't art, they're product. They are McDonalds and Taco Bell and 7-11 Slurpees. I get them cuz I like the product, can't stand the art.
I'm in a wait and see mode with both Marvel and DC. Whoever brings back my comfort food gets my money, and I'm a guy that used to buy well over a hundred dollars in comics a month.
So, until mssrs Banner, Thor, Rogers, Stark, Barton, Parker, Rhodes, S, Williams, Bradley, S. Wilson, W. Wilson, E. Brooks, Cage, Ross, Barnes, Grimm, along w/Ms. Walters, are returned to their correct placement and portrayal, and Cho, Foster, Cage's kid, Riri, Rebel, Rashaun, Gwen Pool, and Morales are at the very least demoted to kid sidekick status, not a dime will be spent on the current replacement product. It's like Classic Coke and new Coke.
Not that DC's off the hook. If Rebirth doesn't give me back the real JSA, Powergirl, Red Robin, Impulse, Superboy, Titans, JLA, classic Captain Marvel, the Milestone characters, and Ted Kord, not one dime for them either.
If BK changed the Whopper to a vegi patty with aeoli sauce, I wouldn't buy that either.
