Did you notice that the issues with cover numbering of #500 - #527 are now no longer considered #500 - #527?
Check out the image below -- the issue bearing #527 on the cover is now considered to be #530. Because that's not confusing.
Similarly, Iron Man #500 -- which has a giant #500 on the cover... is actually now Iron Man #503. Right. That makes sense. Sure it does.
I'm mostly just wondering if this will be interesting. I mean, I assume the search will just be a "rosebud" to tell a story along the way, and I wonder what that story will be? Some sort of deconstruction/reconstruction combo, full of flashbacks and attempts at recontextualization? I suppose it could be good, or it could just end up like Star Trek the Next Generation's "Shades of Grey".
