    Hmmm, I have to say this is probably my favorite issue so far.

    It's basically an issue-long fight, it's not going all that easy for Riri, and there's plot development in the background. Plus the ending is unexpected, very sweet and potentially the seed for some very good stories.


I didn't see any improvement over previous issues. Riri continues oscillating between complete stupidity and absurd genius without the least fluidity. And the end is perfectly predictable, since Bendis once again, forgot all the scenes he himself wrote about Latveria since the previous volume and did the same thing that Mark Waid did, but in an infinitely more skilful way, years ago when he was writing Fantastic Four. I wonder if it was Tom Brevoort who suggested this, so that at least something would happen in the end and at the same time, maintain the concept of Riri as the absolute center of everything that is right in the world.
