He kind of looks like it... what with those boots, and how he wants a life of freedom, not complacency (why he left a future which was more or less perfect).

There's also some sort of... mideval thing going on, sort of Robin Hood old-time kind of... forest-bandit.

This does sort of tie into the whole idea that he's a space-bandit. It also looks a bit western, methinks - the whole poncho-thing. (see that Avenger-story when he went back to the old west and learned to love guns)

The only thing that throws this whole thing off is the face-mask... it looks more like something out of tribalistic Africa than anything else!


Yeah... not the clearest design.

Still, a futuristic bandit, is my best take.
