As I recall, there was some story-event where Stark died, then was replaced with a kid-version of himself from somewhere (Iron "Boy"), then he and other heroes got sucked into Heroes Reborn, and was an adult somehow, and IIRC, was an adult still in Heroes Return and onward. Could someone please explain to me how this is? I kept forgetting to ask.

Franklin Richards.

Franklin put Tony into the pocket universe as an adult and then brought him back to 616 Earth as an adult.

The kid is omnipotent. It's the stupidest scenario in all of comics but nevertheless, the kid is omnipotent.

It was indeed stupid, but it was about the only way to fix what was done to Tony in the Crossing that gave us Teen Tony/Iron Boy.
