What strikes me most is that the characters aren't much like their portrayals in the comics. Not surprising. Hollywood thinks it's too good for comic books(except when they want our money). Does anyone think that 'Barry Allen' looks anything like a forensic scientist(let's ignore that he's not blond or blue-eyed)? And Victor doesn't really talk like a jock, does he? Mostly because Hollywood writers automatically link technology with nerds. And the King of Atlantis? Certainly looks regal doesn't he? This is all based on Geoff Johns work? Again, not surprising. Johns is hit-and-miss with his writing.
The JLA I know and love are like the Knights of the Round Table. Heroic titans, admired by society at large. They should be larger-than-life, not the type of people found in a cheap bar. The soundtrack summed up what Snyder is aiming for: counter-culture appeal. And that's definitely NOT the JLA. I'll save my money. Just like with the Suicide Squad. And anything else with Snyder's name attached to it.
