      If all it takes for a movie to be good is to include characters you like, that's a pretty low standard.
    One could say this about ANY superhero/comicbook movie.

That's exactly my point. This is your standard we're talking about. For example, I like Batman, but I certainly don't like any movie just because Batman is in it. Those Joel Schumacher Batmans were terrible and so was Suicide Squad.


      Weak, one-dimensional characterization; way too much exposition; atrocious dialogue; clumsy pacing; Ben Affleck; generic uninteresting villain; trying to squeeze too much into too little time; super sappy ending.
    I disagree with this entire paragraph. One could easily say the same about other movies.

Yeah, a lot of movies suffer from that description and those are bad movies too. So if you disagree with me on, say, Steppenwolf, tell me what makes him a non-generic and interesting villain?
