That makes Justice League look like it'll have a total domestic gross around the $220 million ball park. In comparison, Thor: Ragnarok should make it to at least $300 million domestically. Justice League is doing well in foreign sales though and might make it to $600 million world-wide. By my estimation, that means Warner Bros. will lose $100 million before considering ancillary sales of merchandise, cable revenue, and discs.

Yeah, it is not a good look. The budget is estimated to be what? Around $300 million. Add in advertising and that is a stiff climb for a movie to have without big openings. Given the standard drop off with comic book movies.

Not a good opening at all. I am a bit surprised. Not because the movie was good, but because DC made a solid film with the WW movie that did pretty well. Then they turn around and give back more of the same that has led to disappointment.

Not saying WW was the greatest movie ever or anything, but it is by far the best thing DC has put out recently (ignoring the Nolan movies that are not DCEU). Just very surprising.

Look Raist bunnies...
