It’s not at the expected quality level of a Marvel film, but it felt like a DC story to me. It provided both entertainment and hope that the upcoming solo films and the future of the universe they created will follow Wonder Woman and not Man of Steel.

With the exception of Superman killing Zod I didn't feel Man of Steel was that bad. Batman vs Superman was bad.

Reverend Meteor (I really liked the musical score in Man of Steel)

Liked the music,
Liked the Krypton section a lot.

Part was into it, I found myself thinking, "This definitely isn't the Superman I know, so I'll try to enjoy it as a straight Alien Invasion movie.

A little later I found it to be a pretty crappy alien invasion movie.

I forget exactly what it was, I think it was the definition of the Kryptonian matrix. My then 9 year old daughter looked at me and said,
"That's really stupid."

But that's me, everyone's tastes are different and I know a bunch of people who liked it too. Just like I know people who liked Justice League as much as I did. Here's hoping eventually DC makes a more universally liked film.
