Does anyone else like the greg rucka and marco checchetto version of frank with the beard and dripping skull. I for one thought if was pretty cool looking and a welcome change to the Punisher. I hate that steve dillon and marvel have gone for the same look as the marvel knights frank which has been done to death. All incoming artist will stilll be giving us the same old frank all these years. This could have been a look that could have carried on with frank castle for many more years to come. Also it wouldnt have hurt for frank to have a new look if marvel ever decided to give him another chance at the big screen. Let me know what you guys think. Also to give you a example steve dillon drew the checchetto version of frank in incredible hulk.
Which look really good.

Different artists have different ways of draing familiar characters, and they tend to stick to drawing those characters in that way. Take Marc Texeiras art over in Punisher Nightmare. He's drawn Frank before years ago, and continues to draw him the same way today.

For me, whilst I have my preferences, the look of the character is far less important than the storyline. Incidently, a skull sprayed onto body armour isnt new - its been done before. I suspect the beard has too.
