Whatever happened to him anyway? He was one of the Jigsaw brothers, correct? I assume that he's dead now. How did Punisher react to his family dying once he knew that they were "the real deal?" ? Bringing back his family has to be one of the worst moves in the history of the Punisher, as well as the Marvel Universe.

I don't think that Jigsaw did anything that would leave a mark on Frank in the Year One series. All that he did was try to kill him. There's not much to Jigsaw. He's pretty one-dimensional, but I still really like his encounters with Frank.

I cant recall what happened to Clarke, but i think he survived. Jigsaw was last seen falling into a burning building and is presumed dead.

Rick Remenders run on the title is somewhat maligned, which is a shame because he's shown elsewhere (Fear Agent/X-Force and others) that he really can write. The 'In the Blood' mini series flies below the radar really due to the fact that Frankencastle seems to have attracted the majority of the negative press regarding Remenders run. The first ten issues of the series I thought were actually pretty good, but I'm in the camp that believe that he then went on to write perhaps the worst Punisher story of all time.

Franks reaction to the resurrection of his family and the subsequent realisation that they really were his family was typically cold and unemotional, which is another bad things about the Remender run. If anything was going to elicit an emotional response from Frank you would expect it to be the realisation that he had just burnt to death his wife and children.

I mean really, think about that - death by flamethrower is one of he worst deaths possible, which is why the weapons were banned by the Geneva Convention, but Frank subjects his kids to such a fate and then feels nothing?
