I just can't do it. The original Nick Fury was an integral part of my youth. Replacing him with a pseudo-Ultimate pseudo-Cinema version is more than I can tolerate.

If Marvel would have allowed father and son to work together side by side, with the son running day to day operations at SHIELD, and the father as Merlin to son's Arthur, I would have been fine with it. But instead they relegated the original Nick Fury to the scrap heap. I'll never be OK with that. Missing "great stories" is a trivial concern. Great stories abound on the comic store shelf if one's eyes are open to possibilities.
