Quote:They could also address an interesting question: other heroes have returned from death or what appeared to be death, but why has none of them gone on a quest to get Marv back?
1. He died of cancer.
2. It would be cruel to resurrect him and expect him to go back to being a hero. He might be happy where he's at. All heroes ever do is suffer. Peter Parker isn't even allowed to keep his marriage. Cap's almost a Nazi. Thor's ex-girlfriend has stolen his identity. Just endless suffering.
Quote:Rick Jones especially would have been motivated to try given how he was linked to Marv for so long.
I think he loves his friend and wants him to stay at peace.
Oh she would definitely do it. That evil b*tch has no boundaries. She used her dead lover's sperm to impregnate herself (twice) and then stole their childhoods.
Considering his family and that he's an Eternal he probably envies Mar-Vell getting to escape from it all.
A million years from now Mentor's still going to be Thanos's father. He'll never escape that.
Quote:Dr Strange....well he might offer sage advice as to why they shouldn't but I could see him lending a hand.
I'm sure if he couldn't talk people out of it he would lend a hand to make sure Mar-Vell doesn't come back as some Franksenstein vampire zombie
Quote:Adam Warlock: the soul gem could easily recall Marv's spirit back to our plane of existence and they can make a clone body for him.
I think Adam is another one who wouldn't help because he wouldn't want to disrupt Mar-Vell's afterlife. Adam has been miserable his entire life. The one time he was happy was when he lived in the Soul Gem for all those years. I don't think he would want to take contentment away from someone.
