That's 2 (more?) books, this week (so far), that have confirmed that there is No More S.H.I.E.L.D. (seemingly as it miiight just be under review or whatever the term is) immediately following Secret Empire's conclusion. This seems like a good thing since that organization has been too often nothing but a plot device security agency for meting out No-Prize fixes within it's oft contradictory purview. No doubt, it won't be too long before it returns to it's national and/or international glory (depending on the writer) with Nick Fury Jr. or a "reborn" Coulson is assigned as the new Director for obvious (MCU before MU) reasons. In the meantime, it will be an interesting and refreshing challenge for the Bullpen to incorporate more "real" security agencies since leaning to IRL realism has always been a charm of the MU. Of course, the first order of business is to clarify how it still feels like a SHIELD presence is happening with ex-CEO Peter's "sister's" (fugitive status) and ex-CEO Berto's USAvengers (sub group of his AIM sub group of SHIELD).

The only SHIELD I ever truly liked was back in the late-80s, after the global organization crashed and burned, and REAL Nick Fury recreated it as just him and his closest buddies.
