Reply Subj: Does anyone like Lady Thor? How about Ironheart?

I ask because I found I enjoyed seeing Lady Thor, Ironheart, and the Falcon fight as a team. It almost had a DC Earth 1/Earth 2 vibe.

I've always loved the Falcon. Ironheart I haven't followed because, despite making an effort to, I just couldn't stomach Bendis's writing. I really tried but after a few issues it was just intolerable to me.

I was reading Lady Thor for a little while and liking it for the most part, but then she was depicted as holding her own against Odin. Odin! If there was one constant in the Marvel Universe, it was this: Odin can wipe the floor with Thor.

I dont mind Jane as Thor. At least she is a natural fit to take over the character for a while, as she is so closely associated with the book. Likewise I thought the same of Sam Wilson as Cap.

Riri Williams meanwhile I cant stand.

From the fact that they clearly killed Rhodes off because theres no way that Stark could possibly have two black friends, or that anyone would take Riri seriously as Starks successor whilst Rhodes was still around; to the fact that she was so hastily shoe-horned into the role despite doing nothing more significant than stopping a truck; to the fact that Stark now seems to endorse child endangerment; to the fact that she's a terribly bland Mary Sue who has been promoted entirely along her census traits of being black, young, and female, rather than any interesting character traits; to the fact that Marvel want to have their cake and eat it by calling a book about a female child called Ironheart 'Ironman'.

She god-damn awful.
