Spirits of Vengeance 001 (2017)

What did y'all think of this premiere?

It's an intriguing quartet with a lot of colorful canon and bedazzling backstory between them. It is only for this reason to look forward to #2. This premiere relied too much on that mood setting, recognition factor, and picturing as much fire and smoke in as many panels as possible. There was only vaguery instead of solid tease or worthy grabber. It was a big, big disappointment that the one member, Satana, did not even score a cameo (except for the cover and her skimpy Marvel Legacy Origin backup panel And speaking of skimpy, her new character design has a sexcitement to it that would have added to the gloomy set up. Finally, if the series title becomes the official team name, like in earlier runs, it's very awkward?, cumbersome?, lazy? to copy the name of Ghost Rider's core cause/concept.

Presumably Necrodamus is this guy:
Which should be interesting continuity. And Razan appears to be some new bad guy, more visually vigorous than character curious at the moment. This was just a set-up, fine, but hopefully the road from their last appearances to this point proves to be revealed and satisfying ASAP for longtime readers/fans of biker Blaze, hoity-toity Hellstrom, badass Blade, and seductive Satana.

Support Cancer Research and Alzheimer Research.

Now if they can just reactivate Dan Ketch as the Rider and get him and Blaze together again.
