Alex comes clean to Nico about her sister's suicide. Amy was onto Pride, like they are now, and it seems like she was "dealt with." Amy confided in Alex, so he kept this from Nico. She's pissed, but gets over it... mostly.

One of the Pride has to sacrifice themselves for Victor? Why? Won't another homeless person work?

I think the problem was time. Victor was on the verge of dying any minute. Although the fact that Jonah was able to put Victor into stasis undermines that theory. It really seems like this episode got out of control somehow.

Incidentally, I only recently started watching this series. My daughter and I have binge-watched it over the last few days. We both like it.

So wait... Jonah says if Victor isn't saved everybody dies. So, Tina's solution is to destroy the box, so Victor can't be saved and everybody dies. Oops. Jonah doesn't seem overly upset by this. He just seals Victor in his box, in some kind of suspended animation. What happened to everybody dying? I hope they explain this more next episode. Things just aren't making sense.

My best guess is that Jonah's real concern (besides saving Victor, who may be the only Pride member who actually matters to Jonah, and even then, only because of his genius) was maintaining dominance over the Pride. He used the ultimate threat to cow them into obedience. Trouble is, Tina resisted any way. This could pose a serious threat to Jonah's dominance. He went for the nuclear option and was denied.

The video is done decrypting. And now the kids are waffling about turning in their parents. Chase now wants to save his dad. Karolina thinks her dad can help things. The others still seem committed. I guess they don't run away until the finale.

I'm not convinced they'll run away at all. Maybe. I of course would have expected them to. But in the comic, they run away and then a lot of their adventures have nothing at all to do with the Pride. On the TV show, the Pride is the whole story. So far at least. I'm really very curious how this season will end.

Molly is now with her aunt. Her parents left her an old VHS tape message in a train station locker. Hmm.

I loved how Molly had no idea what that VHS tape was.
