    Quote:
So this is the first issue I've ever bought of Moon Girl and that was because it features one of my favorite characters, Galactus. Galactus reveals the existence of an entity, Omnipotentis, who is as far above him as Galactus is above the Silver Surfer. While Galactus devours worlds, Omnipotentis devours entire universes, and he is coming to Earth. Now this is an interesting premise, although Starlin already wrote a similar character called The Hunger, but what made this story unbearable was Moon Girl herself. She never lets anyone forget that she's the smartest person on the Earth. She's arrogant, smarmy, snide, impatient, and all around insufferable, and she's all this to Galactus, who would normally not tolerate such disrespect. Is she like this all the time?

Yeah there was a thread about how unpopular this issue was on the Fantastic Four board. The sassy line about being smarter than Reed Richards really rubbed me the wrong way. Personally I would be happy if someone just dunked her in acid.
