Wow! If Marvel lines up good writers and has them write the character the way Roy Thomas did, then this will be great!

The picture at the top of the article worries me, though. I hope they don't intend to integrate Conan into the present day Marvel Universe to any great extent. The very occasional team-up story is OK, possibly. Wolverine would be cool. Thor, not so much, unless it's done in a very Robert E. Howard way, where Thor is being worshipped by some northern tribe, and is presented as a frightening entity who is perhaps invoked to face off against an even more frightening entity.

I only liked the Ostrander work, because Ostrander wrote Conan the way Roy Thomas did; I.e., talkative, jocular, a rough and ready philosopher, always prepared to risk his life for a woman.
