Not sure if this counts as a spoiler, but...

Why did they go from October issue #21, to November issue with #234? I did some research on marvel wikia, and there seems to be Peter's Ult Spidey #'s 1-200, Miles' Ultimate Spidey #'s 1-12, and Spider-Man (current Miles series) coming at 21, so it adds up, but is there a specific reason why they did this? Just wondering. I know they've done it with Venom too recently.

Marvel is doing a renumbering thing with a lot of their titles.

Sometimes the math doesn't add though like say with the Captain America renumber.

I was amused to note that they aren't even making a pretense at consistency.

For example, Iron Man (like so many series) has had its numbering restored before now. But if you look at the way Legacy counts, the current and previous renumberings do not agree. Iron Man #500 (from 2008) is being counted by Legacy as #503. And so on -- #501 is now #504, #502 is now #505, etc.

Doesn't really matter, though. Partly because the stories are what counts, not the number on the cover. And partly because they will all be "cancelled" and relaunched with new #1s in a year or two.
