I picked this one up for the Slingers. I'm not thrilled.

The Hornet and Ricochet both seem to secure and sure of themselves. Ricochet especially, since we know for sure he's the same guy as the Slinger. I'm assuming it's not Eddie under the helmet. He's SO different than the Eddie from Slingers.

Peter David said in an interview I'm too lazy to look for that Hornet is not Eddie.

Why would Ricochet's first assumption be "How did Eddie come back to life?", rather than "Who is wearing Eddie's old costume?"

Seems a little early to be displeased.

Obviously, Ricochet hasn't gotten a lot of panel time yet, so there's plenty yet to be decided. I'll admit right off the bat, I think he's depicted as too big. And as I stated, I don't understand why he jumps to "Eddie is back from the dead" and not "someone is wearing the same clothes my dead friend used to wear".

I'm sticking it out, hoping that as Ricochet gets more panel time, I see more of the character I remember.

I'm glad to hear Hornet is definitely new. Now I can appreciate him as someone new, rather than saying "that doesn't sound like Eddie..."
