It's a shame to see this series end when it just seemed to be hitting it's stride.
I wonder if Marvel realized more people would have picked it up if they'd advertised Mayday more (she doesn't appear on any covers aside from the finale). I don't suppose it matters though as my one fault with the series is she was criminally underused.
The art was nice, the story seemed rushed - though they did a credible job with what must have been a last minute cancellation. There were a few threads left hanging, if you'll pardon the pun but over all the issue was enjoyable.
The best part is that it didn't feel like a send off, which gives me hope that we'll see the Web Warriors in some form or another again.
It was nice having a version of Mayday around even if it was only in small doses.
Let's hope she's back before too long!
I thought the issue packed very little punch, I never beleived there were any stakes. At least Ultimate Jessica Drew is alive and well as a brief cameo in the final pages shows. Now all we need is to reunite her with Miles
