Decided to give BvS another viewing and realizing it was not any better than I originally thought but have a few questions. Though it was never stated such I feel Luthor and Wayne were both actually being mind controlled. Anyone else think so? Not sure about Kal but maybe he was manipulated as well. I am not defending the movie just noting it seems more likely than I thought. Supermans' death by a replica of WWs magic sword directly in the heart will take some regenesis technology which brings up something I definitely did not want to see in Justice league. That being Darkseid bringing him back and kal spending most of the movie as a villain. there was at least one clue with the Flash scene that seemed to indicate it might happen. Now I am seeing very possible plot details that are seemingly credible saying that is exactly what happens. I have noted the lack of Superman in the promo clips as well. There have been reshoots but probably just minor changes. You have an opinion on the Darkseid/Superman angle? I would much rather have Kal show up late because of regaining his power after some other plot device resurrection. The reaction to BvS caused Suicide Squad to completely change its approach though it didn't really help. I really do not want a evil superman after all Black Adam will be along to cover that angle. Can't believe they cancelled Shazam.

1. Of course Bat-Punisher and Necksnapper were being mind controlled. How else can one explain how out of character each one was written?

2. Why not bring Necksnapper back and spend most of the Justice League movie as a villain? He already is one in my book. Having Necksnapper being Darkseid's lackey in the film will only serve to damage his rep even more than it already has been. But I could care less what is done with Necksnapper, to be honest. He's already been ruined as a character in my eyes.

3. Actually, the different approach to Suicide Squad did help the movie. Wanna know how I know? Because even though it was hated by the critics, it's still going to be a sequel. Meh...

4. Good news! From what I hear, Shazam is back on! Unfortunately, Black Adam will not be featured as it's main villain since he'll be stolen by MoS 2 as it's main villain.

It's interesting that a hero/villain performs one amazing feat, or use a power they haven't used for 20+ years, and that automatically propels them to a high status despite scans and evidence to the contrary. I don't know what is worse, selective feat picking that has only been done once or twice 20, or more, years ago or ignoring evidence from scans or the lack thereof. We need to stop putting our favorite heroes/villains on pedestals and start putting them where they really belong. But it's evident that people never will because they would rather accuse others of cherry picking feats, when they don't, and being 'morally superior' when they aren't. I guess being honest and as fair as possible only opens one up to being the target of childish accusations and fault finding by those who insist on acting petty and childish. What happened to a good debate between two civil, mature, adults?
