Well, I don't watch Supergirl anymore after the season two finale. I can tolerate a lot, but no one jobs Superman and keeps my viewership, not even Kara. I did happen on a clip that show the Legion of Superheroes, with Saturn Girl stating that the Legion was inspired by Kara's example. The heck?! Is there nothing from the Superman mythos that they won't steal? I find it deplorable, but then I remember that Superman fans, readers, viewers, etc. aren't concerned with the LOS and Superman's legacy even onto the future. If anything, it cements that I won't be watching Supergirl anytime soon.

Well, if it's any consolation, the show runners stole Reactron (a Supergirl villain) and made him a Superman villain in the show.

But yeah, I get your point and I am sick of the showrunners constantly stealing from Superman. I looked up Supergirl's rogues gallery and there is PLENTY there to choose from. Aside from that, if Supergirl's background doesn't have anything to take then that is a GOLD MINE of creativity because, guess what? The show runners can make it up. But no, they show no originality. What Supergirl villains they actually DO use, they butcher up so they are completely unrecognizable simply because they are too freakin' LAZY to stick to the source material (The mockery that is Reign anyone?).

The show has been ruined for me as well. Let the ratings continue to drop and get cancelled already. I won't shed a tear.

It's interesting that a hero/villain performs one amazing feat, or use a power they haven't used for 20+ years, and that automatically propels them to a high status despite scans and evidence to the contrary. I don't know what is worse, selective feat picking that has only been done once or twice 20, or more, years ago or ignoring evidence from scans or the lack thereof. We need to stop putting our favorite heroes/villains on pedestals and start putting them where they really belong. But it's evident that people never will because they would rather accuse others of cherry picking feats, when they don't, and being 'morally superior' when they aren't. I guess being honest and as fair as possible only opens one up to being the target of childish accusations and fault finding by those who insist on acting petty and childish. What happened to a good debate between two civil, mature, adults?
