No one. Lex Luthor is finally back to his old villainous self. That's why he's doing the evil smile bit. And I, for one, couldn't be happier. He's worn that "S" for far too long. Doing the Hero thing is NOT Lex Luthor because it leaves Superman without an archenemy.

That was my take as well. Even though it did seem a bit sudden/extreme of a flip flop 'tude. Unless of course, LL has a plan already in mind (or all along).

The conclusion story itself was well done. The art was exciting (as was the Kal on the Throne cover). Lois did seem a bit powered up vs. Apokaliptans but let's chalk that up to her armor advantages. Jon was spot on. And the conflict resolution and KING KAL's judgement was predictable but perfectly apropriate. Adora has a lot of story potential - until DC bangs that Cosmic Reset button. Still maddening not being able to fit in the Miracle Man mini chronology - but that's no slight against this tale. Hopefully writers won't misuse/abuse the smart inclusion of that Boom Cube 24/7 access.

And here's (both dimensions of) a banner submission (it's been 3 yrs!) from this ish showing a fun couple moment.
