Yeah but I guess if she gets said help she isn't the feminist icon they make her out as.
I guess help is fine if she's fighting some vague army or something but one on one with a female villain she needs to handle that business herself even if she has to die. Honor demands it!

Probably just enjoying some connubial bliss.

The show seems to want to tell us that no one can do it alone and Kara's better off with the group. I tend to see it the opposite way. She's better of without them and they're better off without her.
If she joins the Legion I might feel different. They could be her actual peers in ways Winn, Jimmy and Alex can't be.
I would like to see the dynamic of Kara being one superbeing in a group of them. Right now we see how it is being in a team that revolves around her. But I guess the Legion being the Legion that would probably also be all about her.
There really hasn't been a hint to suggest she'd be better off on her own. Every episode seems to beat us over the head that she's not up to fighting by herself.
But I do agree with you that's how it should
be. Superman doesn't tend to get help. Heck, the best Superman is when he's all by himself and a complete fighting beast. And when he's on the ropes, he survives by himself by being devious. Kara shouldn't be any different. She is not Buffy. She shouldn't have a Scooby Gang backup.
