There's no doubt that the Bronze Age was great. It's simple and unpretentious storytelling style is something I'll take any day over the faux sophistication of the decompression era.

And yes, Jim Aparo was a brilliant storyteller who has gotten his due in recent years of acclaim. He did a great Superman as well.

"What convincing method could a writer devise for allowing Lois Lane an equal footing in a story starring the Batman...?"

Astoundingly, Lois is alotted equal (if not superior) footing with Superman month in and month out for many years now. . .
