    An unfair assessment I feel, Batman's defeating the Hulk was down to some favourable circumstances and not a small amount of luck. Within the context that that story was written and the era it was set in the result as written is not at all all that outrageous frankly...

I didn't realize that lads focused so hard on that one aspect. I thought it was fine when I read it. Still do. It's a much less egregious moment than Catwoman back-kicking Barry, Wally and Wally.

    It's a shame that this one aspect of that book is all that is ever talked about, as that was actually a fine story that took an unlikely pairing and explored the two characters and touched on their broad similarities. It's a book that is of its time, and set in a distinct era, but if you were there it was and is faithful to these two characters and that era... if nothing else though at least savor the superb Garcia-Lopez artwork and that magnificent rendition of The Joker. \(yes\)
